What are you hungry for?
I know from experience that a single hour together is never going to cut it. I always just end up hungry again a few hours later.
A lunch meeting takes about as long as a good business lunch. Unclocked sessions mean I’m not watching the time, if you’re not. It’s a fantastic way to meet for the first time, without overcommitting or worrying about how we’ll ever occupy so much time together. Forgive my cockiness, but it’s also a great way to realize you’ll probably want dinner later, too.
Self care comes in many forms, and sometimes it’s something as simple as slipping away from real life for a few hours to be heard, held, and honest. If you’ve got a private office or a work by Zoom situation, turn off that cam and let’s break up the work day into some manageable parts together.
Alternatively, let’s have a lunch! I love lunches, and allowing a new friend to amplify my interest over the course of a casual meal, is like edging with all my clothes on.
Let’s grab a bite.
For Lunch Meetings, we’ll need to be in the same general location already. Travel expenses are not included.
